hello
Welcome.
About five months ago, I realized I was stuck in a loop. I wanted to write for leisure, but I never felt like I had the time. After work, I was usually too tired, so I’d sit on the couch, watch TV, maybe have a beer, and call it a night.
so how do you make time to write?
To get closer to my creative centre, I had to cut away my distractions. There’s a quote by Stephen King about ‘killing your darlings’, i.e. being willing to cut things that don’t serve the story.
So I started cutting.
I stopped riding my road bike. No more long rides through hills and highways.
I quit cannabis. No more mental vacations or inflated thoughts—just raw, unfiltered experience.
Bit by bit, I reclaimed my time. These changes gave me back over eight hours a week for writing.
I wrote a little bit at a time, journaling about my days, until I felt like I could spend hours just letting words flow out of me.
what did you make of it?
Somehow, the more I wrote, the more connected I felt to myself, to others, to the creative process. I felt like I’d let the universe speak to me, and I listened. I started getting curious about what drives other people. What moves them? What keeps them going?
That’s how this magazine began. It’s a space for sharing.
You’ll find essays, articles, artwork, and other creations from friends, strangers, and anyone with something to say.
I hope you find something here that speaks to you.
