Does that halo weigh heavily?

Burdened by the thought of you and me.

Oh, Seraphim!

Don't leave me idly by,

with eyes that cannot see.

Your beating wings and untainted cloth.

Once touched my face. Once sullen and,

forlorn. I felt reborn.

Mesmerized by the strings you strum.

And that voice, your soft whispered noise.

Sang so gently into my ears.

Quelling all my worrisome fears.

Light on my palate. Light as the taste,

of honey dew.

Please let me know if you are to leave so soon.

Under this pale and cold blue moon.

Back to your celestial palace.

Caress my face one last time.

Let me have some memory,

of your supple and warm touch.

Visions of you gone.

Never will I see you again.

All inexpressable as depictions of you.

My six winged seraphim

Once lifting me unto joy. Away from the woefulness.

That beseeched me.

So please give some trace, some memory.

To accompany me as you say goodbye,

to all you used to know.
